The Story of a Photographer

I started my photography career while living in Fairbanks, Alaska. There was an endless amount of opportunity to capture the true beauty that few get to witness. I have always found myself to be behind the camera more than I am in front of it. There's a certain spirit and eye that makes people see the world through a photo lens. Traveling, desire for adventure, and appreciation at the smaller things in life have helped me with my journey in photography. It truly is an honor to capture those moments in everyone's lives that brings a smile to their face and a memory to their minds.

My strive to pursue photography stems from the love I have for my two boys. They are the ones I passionately wanted to document so I would never forget. They bring me strength, motivation, and love at each and every shoot I perform. Being a nurse for the military, we have moved around quite a lot and I have seen them thrive with every place we travel. I see them enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the amazing animals we have encountered, as have I. I want to show my boys that they can accomplish anything in life that they set their mind to.
